Where do porcupines live?

Porcupines habitats are located in tropical and temperate parts of Asia, Italy. They also live in the dry desserts in north africa where they build mive but deep burrows. There are aslo many found in the Tropical forrests in South America. Porcupines live in forests, rocky outcrops, hillsides and grlands of the Canada and northern USA. Some new world porcupines live in trees, but old world porcupines stay on the ground. Porcupines can be found on rocky areas up to 3,500 m (11,000 ft) high.all porcupines are also nocturnal.
