How do I switch from x@sbcglobal.net to x@yahoo.com & keep my yahoo photos?

I'm going wireless and am cancelling my dialup w/at&t (thats how I get Yahoo). my yahoo id is x@sbcglobal.net. I have photos that I DON'T want to lose, friends that I IM all the time, and I would like to keep my yahoo acct. So how do I change the 2nd half of my ID?
