Really, did NBC learn nothing from the Leno/Letterman debacle?

They forced out Johnny Carson, who had the dignity to walk away with his head held high. They didn't have the guts to put Letterman in there, because he hurt some higher up and up's feelings once. They put Leno there, who for 16 of his 18 years has delivered solid ratings. Now they give Conan seven months? Kudos to Conan for saying F*** YOU and leaving.
