Can you help me with this poem ysis?

The poem discusses the dreadful effect of loss and futility. The poem looks at several scenarios where there is despair and inaction. The people are hardened and made colder by an event which changes them forever. It is as if the whole world is depressed and frozen into inaction. There is no attachment, no sense of purpose and all are alone. It is a bleak poem of loss.
