Any advice about Bournholm's disease?

In the middle of November I was admitted to hospital with chest and rib pains and after a lengthy wait was only yesterday diagnosed with bourneholms disease by a heart consultant by chance. Was under investigation for ectopic heartbeat and worried about not getting any joy with the pains I was getting as was told it was probably muscular. Thankfully this consultant was excellent. Het said nurofen might help the pain but at the moment the pain is not so much in the ribs but I have felt breathless the last few days and this hasn't happened in the last several weeks I have had this problem. I'm wondering when this should cease as its uncomfortable. Also a bit worried because it said in some cases can be fatal which I know any disease can but its unnerving. Advice from medical professionals only please. Thanks.
